Help w/ Removing Factory Stereo: 1999 Honda Prelude

I'm kind of new to even tampering with stereo equipment so any help would be much appreciated.

I cannot find any screws or such that can help me get the lower dash off. the Black piece (my official cd holder :P) will not budge. I'm assuming that if I can get that off the CD player will slide out.

Any ideas or voices of experience?

Re: Help w/ Removing Factory Stereo: 1999 Honda Prelude

easy

Take screwdriver

find screws

unscrew them

lose screws in crevice of dash,

dash never fits right again...

Mine Fits fine ....

Prying off the bezel around the cd player and 'temperature control' unit was the tough part. Didn't want to break that :\
