Could I take a 1999 Honda Civic Motor and put it into a 1994 honda prelude?
I am a junior in high school and around here we have these things called senior projects and we learn to do things we don't already know how to do and I chose automobiles and fixing them and this and that. So i am about to buy this 1994 Honda Prelude that has a hole in the engine beautiful car but no good engine... I was planning on taking the engine out of my 99 Honda Civic and putting into the prelude... Is this possible?

Depend on what engines each vehicle has, Would take some fab work, it is possible. But not worth it in my opinion even if you have a 99si with a b16. It would be better to find another prelude engine and put it in, specifically a h22.

+1^ Even a non-vtec H23A1 would be easier and cheaper than putting in a Civic engine. It has the same HP rating as the B16A2, but quite a bit more torque.
