Injen CAI for 03 Tib GTV6

Im going to be getting an injen intake for my Tib within the next month and have been pricing them online. Im open to suggestions for websites with decent prices. Looking to get one for the lowest possible price.

I just got my Injen on Friday, put it in on Saturday. I'm amazed with the results. I got it from AJ-USA for $248 free shipping.

This is the link.

The model # is RD1375P for the '03-'04 Tiburons. Easy to put in. These guys ship pretty quickly too.

Hope this helps!

Re: Injen CAI for 03 Tib GTV6

ok thanks for the input. does anybody know if there is a bypass valve that is compatible with the injen intake? Ive also been thinking about possibly going with an AEM, but ive heard that there were problems with heat affecting the tubing. Is this just a rumor? And would I be better off going with the Injen over the AEM? There is about 50 bucks difference in price. What is the difference in performance? Thanks again.

I've heard about those AEM problems too. Also heard about a design flaw with them. During quick take-offs, the hose that attaches the intake to the throttle body can get clipped between the engine and the firewall . As a result, you may also need to invest in stiffer engine mounts. (I think that was this forum where I read that actually) INJEN however, does not have this problem. I would recommend Injen all the way. And I doubt there is really too much difference in performance.

Re: Injen CAI for 03 Tib GTV6

thanks. Still curious about a bypass valve for the Injen. I havent been able to find any. A buddy had his engine ruined from sucking in water and I definitely wouldn't want that to happen to mine. By the way, where at in MD are you Yamahamian? I live in York PA.

Cool deal!! Ive been to B-more plenty of times. In fact I used to live in Catonsville. That was like 15 years ago tho. By the way, I found a website that has the Injen intake for $217 and free shipping. Morepowerracing.com. Thanks for the input anyway.
