injen cai help

i just put my injen cai on and my car now has a rough idle, hesitats when i give it gas when im just cruising and there is no hook up for the trans. breather...it also stalled on me 2 times just idleing....but it sounds hot as hell

did you make sure that you hooked up all the sensors. because those things make a big difference if they aren't hooked up right are not at all. so check that out.

Well the ecu might just be learning. As soon as I put my intake on it ran real rough, I'd give it gas and it would hesitate and then roar ahead (bad in traffic, lol) but after about a mile or so of driving it started running perfectly and hasn't had any probs in the 3 months since, my guess is the ecu had to learn what was going on, since I didn't unplug the batt to reset it

its been 1 day already and it is still running the same..it feels like its not getting enough gas mixture..o well time to put the stock 1 back on

did you remember to take off the battery terminal for a while. try taking off the negative terminal for like half an hour. then put it back on and drive for a while so your ecu can learn the new air ratio
