Question Rover 75 Cam Belts

I have just purchased a 1999 Rover 75 and it was imported into this country (NZ) from Singapore and I have no service history. Is there some way that I can determine the state of the cam belts. I don't really want to go to the expense of replacing them unneccesarily.

Re: Rover 75 Cam Belts

if the car has done 60000 or near, have it changed!!or the expense will be rather large!
