B18C into 93 accord inspire

hi this is my first post lol yay. anway ive just recently purchased a 93 inspire and now the motor is forked. rather than replacing bits over and over again id rather put in a new engine. i dont mind whether its the 1.8 or 2.2 vtec but ive herd that the 1.8 will make more power over all. well my question is has any1 had any experience with anything similar to this, ie will it fit? as no one in New Zealand seems to. any info at all would be really appreciated. also the engine in it now is mounted length ways but still remains FWD. will this make any difference?
