1994 camaro z28 wont start when hot

ok, whenever i crank my camaro cold it runs perfect but after driving it for 20mins if i let it sit for 5-20 mins and try to crank it, it wont start, the starter will turn over but it just wont crank. But then if i leave it for an additional 15 mins and let it cool it will crank up fine again. The car runs fine it just has that weird cranking problem any ideas?

Re: 1994 camaro z28 wont start when hot

Hey
I had the same problem with my 94 lt1 camaro, i would drive it for about 20-30 minutes then it would start running like shit and then stall out and wouldn't start untill it cooled down, i had to get the optispark distributor replaced which cost about $300 and another $100 to get it put on but it has ran fine since then, if you never had it replaced and you have close to 100K miles on it or more you should get it checked, let us know how it goes, and good luck
