2002 cavalier oil change

I bought my cavy last year used with 25,000 mi on it. It's time for the first oil change. Where is the oil pan and oil filter located? It's a base model sedan 2.2 engine. Thanks.

i'll leave it up to you to find the pan. the filter's jammed between the firewall and the motor, easier to get at from under the hood.

i bought the car in nov, and it had an oil change right before i bought it. I came here for a little advice. Your "poor car" comment was not necessary and in bad taste.

the filter is a bitch to get out. its inbetween the block and the tranny
