Recommended mods?

I am about to get a 01 or 02 Honda Civic EX Coupe. I plan on getting a silver color and I was wandering what types of mods you would recommend. I have some that I plan on doing:
-New CD Player (not exactly a mod)
-Altezza Tail Lights
-Clear Corners
-White Face Gauges
-Suicide Trunk
-Wheels (17" and chrome probably)
-New Exhaust
-Lower it

Tell me what type of mods you think i should also get on it, and try to keep them cheap, new wheels is the only mod that I want to put a lot of money in, but do tell me what would look good, no matter the price.
thanks

For show or go?

-New CD Player - You gotta have nice sounds too right?
-Altezza Tail Lights - Ugly in my opinion
-Clear Corners - Illegal unless you have amber/red bulbs
-White Face Gauges - Yeah, looks good too but no need to change. Face guages for 7th gen look alright.
-Suicide Trunk - I have no clue what this is
-Wheels (17" and chrome probably) - If you go for performance, go with 15"s or 16"s, 17"s are too big. Chrome are also heavier than the silver or painted ones.
-New Exhaust - What exhaust? Get the full cat back exhaust.
-Lower it - Use TEIN full coilovers.

If your going for all go...our engines dont have that much of a potential. The civic was not meant to be fast. You could however do a swap. This might be of interest...K20 in a civic. All we need for 7th gen civics are motor mounts from Hasport...

Re: Recommended mods?

-New CD Player (not exactly a mod) - Alpine or Pioneer
-Altezza Tail Lights - Rice
-Clear Corners - What ^ he said, but no red in the front
-White Face Gauges - Pointless IMO
-Suicide Trunk - flip flop trunk = rice
-Wheels (17" and chrome probably) - more uncle ben's
-New Exhaust - Apex WS, RSR Ex Mag, Thermal R&D, Greddy Evo
-Lower it - Tein Basics or SS depending on budget

Re: Recommended mods?

Haha yea check this out...My friend has a Tib and another guy around here has a Tib. My friend has a sub and cd player added that's it. The other guy has new TIPS (not mufflers), some neons under the dash, intake, and some retro 3d tails. People talk about my friends and they don't say much but they talk about the other tib and they're like "he has like 5000.00 in mods its so fast, Not even the GT version tib can beat it..." This is when I feel like killing someone. Things like that is what makes ricers, people start talking about their car being fast because of lil things and so then they just take off with it...gay yes?

Like mycivic said, there is not to much get up and go with the new civics. so if your looking for umph then i would suggest the K20 swap or even a bottle if your crazy like me. but if you get the bottle get zex or venom and dont go crazy our cars are not bullet proof.

Re: Recommended mods?

everything is the same, all they do is attach some brackets so that the trunk will swing open like that. Some people even use those slider locks so that the trunk will open the regular way when they want them too.
