I have been kicking around the idea of video tape or a card set for over ten years now. I wanted to do it to honor the pioneers of my favorite sport but never could seem to find a way to get it done. I had many preorders for a card set I was planning in the mid-ninties but it never got past the planning stage but it seemed to be the most popular format for my project.

I have decided to do at least the prototype card set on line and share it with my friends here. I'll post a new card every few days so keep checking in to see the latest one. They'll all be the same size and format so that you can print them out if you would like. Here is the "title card" submitted for your comments.



These will be mostly '50's and '60's cars from my collection built by myself, my brother and a few close friends. I hope you enjoy them and please leave me some feedback comments on whether you like them or any ideas you may have about the series. All the photos are ones I already have in the computer. If I do a "real" printed card set I will shoot all new images but that is way in the future, if ever.

Consider this an early Christmas present. Because, since there are around 100 cars, it will probably be close to then when I get the last ones posted. LOL

I think that it is a very good Idea, I'll be looking forward to them.
I think that adding them to my screensaver folder will make for some interesting conversations at work.

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. I'm doing the fine tuning on the layout and will try to get the cover card and maybe the number one out by the weekend.
