01 Monte SS vs Focus

Comming home from a formal dance around the loop.
I was trying to get to an after party at about 12 and going 70 in a 60. Well I must have passed a Focus cuzz he blew by me at about 85 so I took chase since no one else was on the road. We didnt hit the next light but had to slow down to about 40 when I floored it and then he was chasing me. I gt to about 55 and stayed there and he got back infront. Next light we hit with plenty of time to spare and get ready, turned traction control off and power braked it just alittle. Light turns and were off, I took off nice with very little wheel spin while he spun for alittle longer then I did. We were getting back into the busier part of the loop so I shut down at 60 [45mph zone] I had about 2 cars or so on him - it was hard to tell since he had one busted headlight lol. Well he didnt fly by me but he cruised by me mayeb only doing 3mph faster and stopped at my front bumper we continued to do some light weaving for another 2 or 3 miles going 5mph over the limit. I thought he was doing alright until about 4 lights later we ended up next to each other, they never looked over, never revved [i wanted to give him a thumbs up] All the sudden light turns green and he has to rev it up and drop it and peel out all though 1st and some of 2nd.

But anywho, had this chick with me after the dance so i got to show off alittle to her and she even asked me why i stopped so soon! Definatly gonna go on another date with her, lol.

Nice kill man, and at least you tried to give him the thumbs up. Again, I don't get why people have to be such sore losers and speed off like they're a badass. Either way, nice race!

Dude your driving a SS Monte Carlo why are you even bothering with a Focus? I am just asking I not starting anything. You should have just destroyed him and moved on with your date.

Not really, 01 SS Monte's had an n/a 3800. And those cars were pretty heavy, so it's not like they are real drag monsters. Good kill, it's always nice to hear about a Ford losing in something.

All this is true except that last part. Those cars are really heavy for a 6, plus I know the guy and have seen the car and what he has on the car. Still a good kill though

And it seems with 200HP and 220TQ I shouldnt bother but I weigh just under 4000lbs and what does a Focus weigh in at? around 2200 maybe? So with the small HP he has it doesnt take much to push him through the air...unlike me...

Still won though! So onto bigger and better things...right mustang

P.S - The girl is going far off to college in 3 months so she doesnt want a relationship [according to her friend]....might as well keep her around as a friend hehehe

Ok well Monte Carlos had a 3.8 but the Focus is only around 2.0. I guess your car with all of that show has no go. Thats why I stole your girl.

Good kill, and man did you have a lucky date. Most women are totally against racing, to the point of turning me off. It seems like everytime i'm with a girl that somebody wants to race me. What a buzz kill.
