Gallardo price increase?

Has anyone been told what the price increase will be on the Gallardo. Supposedly they were going to announce it during the Geneva 2004 show, which is from March 4 - 14.

I have heard $4500 and $10,000 so far. But nothing official yet.

OK, my dealer called me today and told me the official news...

As of May 1, the 6-speed manuals will list for $6400 more and the e-Gears will list for $5,400 more. Not clear yet whether orders placed before then will be affected. Will let you guys know when I do!

Also, the clear engine covers and custom floor mats are now available from the factory.

Looks like the e-gears are getting a little discount on this price move. Wonder why?

Probably because its cheaper to make e gear, well thats just my guess, and what is the site that sells those clear engine covers?

The "E" gear has been plaged with all sorts of problems. Many unhappy owners. Some of them were talking about legal action. Lambo appears not to have done enought R&D before bringing it to market.

I'm a happy e-gear owner. I'd love to hear from other owners on their e-gear experiences - good or bad. Any other owners out there?

Let see the Gallardo with E-Gear, with std stock here in Montreal is $250,000 CAD ($182,500 USD).

According to my dealer, the price increase I mentioned above also affects all outstanding orders placed. Sigh....
