Well it has finally happened in Australia, July 1, 2004 the Gallardo has gone up in price by $25,000 or 5%. The retail, manual with standard paint is $424,950 or USD$ 300,000 plus on road costs of about $21,000, add e-gear at $26,000 and your new car will cost close to a cool half million with insurance, delivery, fuel and maybe a DVD sound system. Keep in mind there is about $130,000 in taxes going to the good old Aussie government.
Lamborghini are making it even rarer to see one of these beauties on the road. Last edited by Coast Boy; 07-07-2004 at 03:46 AM. |

Re: Gallardo Price Rise In Australia
Wow, it's more expensive than I thought!!!!!!!!
I saw a Yellow Gallardo southern Sydney about a month or two ago. TWICE in two days! I don't care about the price rise though, cause I'm not buying one anytime soon! |

Re: Gallardo Price Rise In Australia
Well if it helps, you can buy a Gallardo with e-gear in NZ for $372,000 get 12.5% back on GST (unlike the $5750 here!) and ship it here on a carnet.
And that's NZ DOLLARS!!! We are getting majorly ripped off here. |
