Subaru Impreza MY99 Roadcar?
Anyone know if anybody made a Subaru Impreza 1999 Road Car?

A UK Model if poss, not jap.

If somebody did make one, where can I get it?

There is the 1996 road car by Fujimi. All the others are WRX STI RA Coupe or the Rally car!

You could do the job with some scratch building though!

Who made the STI Type RA and where can I find that?

Dont think im quite up to scratch building just yet!

Im certainly a big scooby fan - having one helps!

Your Tamiya STI looks good btw

I like the Tamiya kits!

Fujimi do a whole raft of STI kits, from the IV to the VI. Have a look on www.hlj.com and under Fujimi.
They are all out of stock at the moment though!

I've just finished my first model. Hasn't turned out bad at all.

Tamiya Subaru Impreza 01 WRC.


I have managed to find a 99 WRC (my fav shape scoob) so will start that when I've got time

I'll take some pics tomorrow.


I tried getting the reccomended TS-50 - was told a number of things but basically nobody had it! (about 15 shops!).

I ended up buying PS-16 (I think) Metallic Blue and lacquering it - doesn't look too bad. Apparantly what the RC scoobs use.

I have some sonic blue mica, which I used for the 98 Monte Impreza. But apparently that is too dark, so I'll be making a special mix I think!
I have a can of TS-50 here! Shame you didn't find us sooner!

Had PC probs today so I never had time to take the pics.
Will take them tomorrow!

Just ordered my next model (Impreza '99 WRC) - will be so much better as I've learnt alot by doing my first model!
