I have a 95 Civic EX and I just got coilovers for it. I plan on dropping the car about 2" or less all around. Do you think I need to get new struts or will it be ok without them? If not where can I find struts at a resonable price. Im a college student with little funds and the rents wont help either. Please help me.

Re: I Need Suspesnsion Help
YES you need aftermarket struts with any lowering. The more you go, the better you need. Also plan on camber kits + alignment + install. Suspension is not cheap, if you can not afford to do it right the first time SAVE or WAIT til you can. The only struts I recommend with coilover sleeves is Koni yellows.
Note: KYB and Tokico struts are stock lenght intended for stock lenght springs. KYB warranty states 1.5" of lowering can be used safely. When you lower on a stock length strut you are making the strut over-work @ a compressed level. That usually results in poor performance, poor ride quality, & premature wear. Suspension is something you feel every time you drive the car, there is nothing worse than a "upgraded" suspension that handles poorly & has terrible ride quality.
