That's so incredibly awesome that you found that.
 Not fun to watch of course  but cool to have nonetheless. It's kind of interesting how you can see the shockwave transfer through the entire body of the car to dissipate the force of the crash.>8^) ER

Go to www.divx.com and download the latest free DivX codec. There's no sound btw - at least not on my computer.

I removed the sound to make the file a bit smaller (nothing important was said in the clip, except that the mclaren was at the time of testing, the only wehicle able to drive away from the 35mph test at MIRA).
the footage was found in a discovery channel documentary about the problems the Harrods Mach One team had before their first BPR 4 hour race at Jarama in 1995 (the factory got the gearbox in place the day before it was to be delivered to Moody Fayed (owner of the Harrods team), when the team took the car to silverstone to test it before going to jarama the day after, the gearbox wasn't working as it should, they had a water leak which they couldn't find the cause of, etc etc... when they came to jarama, they found the cause of the water leak - some part of the engine/transaxle assembly was cracked, and they had to salvage new parts from a spare gtr mclaren had brought along for the teams to use. later, they had major problems with the balance of the car (no weight transfer when braking => massive understeer), so they had to take the front suspension from the spare gtr. after the race had started, they decided to saw off a piece of the rear wing to improve the balance of the car, which worked, and they finished in 3rd or 4th place. quite impressive  )I am currently uploading some crash test footage of the koenigsegg cc, lambo diablo and jag xj220, and I'll post the url in my first post when it's done.

hey nice videos............
.......i would like seeing the mclaren f1 video with the sound.........well i hope you post it with the audio........ ......thanks and i´ve just really seen one photo of the MIRA crash test....it appears by the side....i´d like someone post more..
