What box will fit??

The trunk in my 85 lx conv. is damn small.........I don't know what box will fit in the trunk I want to put 2 12'' subs in the trunk can some peeps tell me what there setups are im jnust looking for some ideas on where to go, I was thinking about removing the back seat and just making a bracket for a sub box and putting it there, or making a custom box that would fit in the trunk. Any Ideas would be appreciated, thanks.

Re: What box will fit??

I had a 8" Rockford in a bandpass box when I had my coupe. Plently of room, plenty of boom.

Re: What box will fit??

Go to your local subwoofer stoor (don't know any other way to say it) and they should be able to tell you what will work and if they don't have anything they should be able to build you one.

HIFlow5 0 What do you suggest sound wise for a 95 ford thunderbird with plenty of trunk space fiberglass case or a regular case? Would have asked you privatly but someone else might want to know.

Re: What box will fit??

I haven't really been into car audio in years, but I am still a fan of regular sealed boxes for a tight sound. I'm not into that whole rattle traps from boomy bass.

Box That Fits A Mustang Conv

I spent a lot of time searching around for a box to fit my 2003 Conv. I went around to some local car audio places and asked around and was pointed towards having a custom box made... I wasnt very willing to pay someone 200+ for a custom box, so my next step was searching around ebay! So, here is what I found and its the same box i use to house my 12in subs
