Although it's been 7 or 8 years since I've had my Corrado, I still consider it to be the greatest car I've ever owned. Similar to the one you are looking at, I had a 1990 G60 (supercharged 4 cyl), and it was extremely quick and nimble. That car put as many smiles on my face as my Miata did.
The one thing you should be aware of is that Corrados are rather expensive to fix. Mine had about 90,000 miles when I sold it and I encountered several problems on the way, but most of them were due to my driving. I thoroughly enjoyed driving the crap out of it and leaving my friends in my dust on twisty roads. The most significant problem was when I blew my supercharger, and that in turn dumped oil down into the air cooler ($3000). Then the dealer installed the supercharger wrong and it had to be replaced again, but they paid for that one. Also, one winter the power window moter blew ($500), and another time something snapped in my suspension doing 70 on a country road, but can't remember what. Also, when doing a burnout I broke my clutch linkage one time. Like I said, most of this was due to my driving. Some common things that seem to go wrong is that the rear spoiler motors seem to go bad (many times one at a time, so the spoiler sits at an angle), and many people have trouble with the power sunroof motor. Fortunatly I didn't have either of these problems. Really, as long as the car is treated right, it will only have the same problems other high milage cars will have (water pump, fuel pump, etc.) For more info, check out the Corrado Club of America: http://www.corrado-club.com/

Re: Looking @ Buying Corrado Supercharged Any Issues With This Car
G60 corrados tend to need there chargers rebuilt every 70-100k. So if you are buying one in that general area then see if they owner had reciepts of a recent rebuild. If not expect to spend a little money on it.
Or just get a VR6 ![]()
