2001 keyless programming

Hi l just sent off for the keyless remotes but l'm not sure to program them, l've seen some suggestions for other models, but l'd rather be certain.

Here is the procedure for 1999-2004 Silhouette keyless entry programming:

IMPORTANT: YOU WILL NEED TO PROGRAM ALL REMOTE TRANSMITTERS AT ONE TIME, IF NOT ALL PREVIOUSLY PROGRAMMED ONES WILL LOSE THEIR PROGRAMMING.



Perform the following steps in order to program your transmitters:

1. Remove the ignition key from the ignition lock cylinder.

2. Remove the "BCM PRGRM" fuse from the fuse panel.

3. Close all of the doors and liftgate.

4. Turn the ignition lock cylinder to "ACC" position.

5. Turn the ignition lock cylinder to OFF, and then back to ACC within 1 second.

6. Open and close any vehicle door. A chime will be heard when the bcm enters programming mode.

7. Press and hold the transmitter LOCK AND UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for approximately 14 seconds. IMPORTANT: After 7 seconds, a chime may be heard that indicates transmitter synchronization. If a chime is heard after 7 seconds, it is important to wait 14 seconds for the second chime to be heard that will confirm successful programming.

8. Repeat step seven for additional transmitters up to four total.

9. Remove the ignition key from the ignition lock cylinder.

10. Reinstall the BCM PRGRM fuse back into the fuse panel.

11. Confirm operation of all transmitters.
