1.8 PAssat 2001 Keyless programming
Any body know how to programm remote control keyson 01 Passat .Engine starts fine.Little red lights on remote blink's when you push any buttons on it .

put one key in the ignition, dont start it, but put it on the on position, then close and lock the door and hold it for 3 seconds. then push the lock or unlock button on the new remote. pushing it once is for channel 1 twice for 2, 3 for 3, 4 for 4, there are 4 positions on the memory. check all keys after you are done to make sure you didnt delete one.
