need some help please

Hey guys this is my problem the booster on my chevelle is i think leaking because when u hit the brakes u hear a vaccum leak and the car wants to die. All the vaccum lines are hooked up and tight. The pedal goes all the way to the floor like she has no pressure but she stops.. Could the vaccum loss in the booster effect this?

Re: need some help please

Sure sounds like your booster is bad. You can also check the check-valve...that 90-degree plastic piece that plugs into the booster...and see if you can suck air from it, but not be able to blow air into it.
