Nitrous on Automatics

Im thinking about getting a nitrous system for my 1994 accord ex stock (F22 motor and auto trans., 130k miles). Im looking at a single fogger kit and running about a 60 to maybe 75 shot. I was wondering if my transmision would hold up to the jump in horse power, what systems would be the best to invest in and that probly wont blow my engine, and what type of protection should i put into my engine if any to run the system?

well if your worried do a 50 shot *probbly better for motor anyway* get I/H/E if you havn't already it'll help the n20 work better. For such a small shot nothing really is needed just make sure your fuel system works well and 93 octainc doesnt hurt when you plan on spraying

Peeps have found that NO2 does pretty good with automatics. The main reason is it's not falling in and out of WOT when shifting, like you find with a stick.

If it were me... I would make sure the tranny has been serviced recently just to be on the safe side. Like having the tranny fluid changed, ect...

Another thing is you cannot always hear detonation when it's happening. So you might want to keep an eye on the plugs.
