Anyone know if the Kn filters realy help save fuel, and how about the trottle body spacers do they save, and what else can I do to help save fuel?

Re: Fuel Economy

I would not recomend using a k and n filter, they let too much dirt through. Silcon levels in the oil are almost doubled when using a k and n filter. What year is your truck? Dual exhaust will help your MPG queit a bit, also what year truck do you have and what size engine. Is it a half ton? What milage are you looking for? What are you getting now?

Re: Fuel Economy

15 MPG on a 2000 F-150 4.6L auto 4x4 is about right on winter fuels. Our '99 4x2 NEVER got over 17 mpg.
