mini overhead console

how do i remove my mini overhead console to take out my universal transmitter that does not work, i took out the screw and there are 2 clips in the front which way do i pull, 98 chevy blazer?

i think that i might have a loose wire, do you think that is possible if it is not a loose wire how much do you think a new one would cost and were could i buy one at?

Are you sure its your transmitter? I know with mine, I have to hold my normal opener directly up against it(on the side) to program. 1/4" away, it won't work.

well when i push any of the 3 buttons no light comes on likes it is suppose to, it says it will come on when the button is pressed and when i try programing it doen't work.
so i just guessed it was an unhooked wire or it was shot
