Headlight covers

i have thought about getting the blackout headlight covers for my truck. it is black and i am going to get my windows tinted i just got the spray in liner with a soft tonneau cover (all black) are these covers much of a hassle? do they dim alot? i know the carbon fiber ones emit more light but i would like the solid color. any suggestions?

I had some on my truck back in 99. I personally didn't like them very much. I had to take them off every night, because they dim out the headlights so much. I think you should just put some clear corner lens on the parking lights and put some plasmaglow bulbs in the headlights. Blackouts are slowly getting out of style. Just my two cents though.

Re: Headlight covers

thanks for the input. i think i will go with the probeam, with the 3 holes in them. or the carbon fiber ones are supposed to emit more light. BTW i found clear corners for new body style on ebay for 30 bucks.

Ebay is where I got mine at. I like the clears alot. I also had the carbon fiber style eyes covers on the front. I liked them alot more than the straight black outs. They were the ones that had the holes in them. They let the light go through and still give a nice clean look up front.

I too have a Black Silv. I've seen the clear corner's on the black truck and think they really give up a nice appearance. Can you post the link to ebay? Thanks!

These are very well priced and look just like mine. I think they really clean the front end up.
