third gen camaro tranny swap

I just purchased a manual tranny, pressure plate, bellhousing, slave cylinder and everything to convert my automatic camaro to a manual. Has anyone done this job before and give me some pointers on the project. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: third gen camaro tranny swap

buy lots of rolaids, lots of bandaids, a pair of Impact 2 mechanics gloves, several cases of beer... um, cant think of anything else thats really that important

real advice, if you know what your doing, just take your time, dont get mad when things start to fight back, keep your cool, and chances are it will go pretty easy. If you dont konw what your doing, dont do it. go find someone who knows what they are doing, and have them either do it for you, or pay them in beer to supervize as you do it
