I hope that they re-issue it!
If you find it, it might cost over 50 bucks

This one is tricky. I've actually spoken w/a couple of Revell insiders about this kit. While they really want to reissue it, there is a major problem.

The kit was done in a different fashion than most, the molds were designed as inserts to a different kind of molding machine. This was due to the fact the Corrado kit was outsourced to a different company in Europe than usual. Apparently it was quite expensive to produce.

Revell has the mold inserts for the car(s), and the desire to do them (remember the Zender cabrio too), but hasn't figured out a viable way to produce the model...the inserts don't fit standard injection molding presses. Basically, if they can't get this to work, they're not going to reissue it and there's not enough interest in the Corrado at this point to do a new tool of it.

So close...but so far...

I've got one Corrado that I traded for. If it gets reissued, great. If not, at least I've got one. They are rare items even on the 'bay. It's a good kit.

Man, I hope they do. I wouldnt care what the price, (as long as its reasonable.) Its a good sign that they still have the molds, so it is possible. Looks like its time to write a few letters to Revell, and hopefully get the ball rolling.

Wow, that's new for me. I heard that the tools of the Corrado are damaged and can't be repaired. I hope that they will be reissued because it's a great kit.
