Wheel spacers?

Hi everyone, i was thinkin about getting a friend some wheel spacers for his 2000 GT. I was wondering what sizes they come in. I've only seen 1" so far. And also, does anyone have any pictures of these installed on this generation mustang? If so, could you send me a link? Thanks a lot.

go to www.brothersperformance.com they have Baer Billet spacers......all sizes, 1/4", 1/2", 3/4", & 1" for 4lug and 5 lug.
I may get the 1/4" ones for the rear on my 98gt. I think any bigger and you have to replace the wheel studs. But they suggest changing them with any spacer. I may take their advice. Don't want a rear wheel flying off at hi rpm's......

If you don't have a RR Mustang why use wheel spacers? Rule of thumb as old hot rods themselves. If you don't need to use wheel spacers.... don't!!!!!!

Why so your wheels hang out farther then the fenders?

Re: Wheel spacers?

well, i think i know what your talkin about, the spacers that keep the rims from sticking to the hub, but i'm not talkin about those. Here is an example of what i'm talking about on e-bay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33749

I know those are what you are talking about. Now the questions is why do you want/need these for your friend's car?

Re: Wheel spacers?

ok, well first lets clear up it would only be for the rear wheels. I probably should have stated that only for the rear wheels a while ago. And to answer your question GTStang, just thought it would look cool.
