I've got 200 dollars taht i can spend on any upgrade i want to for my 87 GTU. My uncle is a mechanic and could get a performance exhaust system and put it in for that much as a birthday present. I was also thinkin about gettin a K&N FIPK. Which would boost the performance the most?? thanks for the help

Re: one performance upgrade

I think he meant headers and intake with cold air box... cuz that could be had for $200 I'm pretty sure... if not you could do it for like $220 for sure

Re: one performance upgrade

Soyo where are you getting you prices from? What headers are you talling about? What intake are you talking about? $200 sounds a little to cheap to me for that.

Re: one performance upgrade

you can get an apex intake for $95 and bonez intake for $100, didn't look for headers, but I figured you could find a header for $120

Re: one performance upgrade

Well i don tthink you can find a decent header that will be under 120$. Especially if you find an intake for $100. But i guess it is possible.

But from the sounds of it you should just look at an exhaust, which may be had for 200 but most likley more. Good luck with it tho.
