Is the whole pipe going to be 3.5 or just the tip?

Re: Re: exhaust

if it is 2.5 then the exhuast system won't be a waste of power and that is a good thing. i think it would sound real loud. I don't know anyone who runs this. try it out and see if you like it. if not get a flowmaster 40 series and replace the pack. red

what you do with your exhaust depends on what you want to get out of in.if you just want power there is more to think about than if you want sound. or both. one thing to remember is unlike a v8 your motor requires a certan amount of back pressure.there are a number of companies that sell headers for your truck, i went with pacesetter for my 2.7. most people like the flowmaster but iwent with a hooker aero chamber becouse it dyno tests better than the flowmaster in every test and was $20 cheaper, dont bother with a hallow cat, it does nothing. i did all in 2.5. my motor needs more back pressure than yours so i lost some low end but smoke on the hig side. it sounds at idle like a v8 and like a import racer when im on it. it is like riding a banshee, it has a powerband. good luck.
