automatic trans

Does anyone know how to check the fluid on a 97 Z24 automatic trans?

Is it the 4 speed?...There is no dipstick...Just an over flow tube under your master cylinder and your air intake/air box, where you pour the fluid in.
To check the fluid level there is a check plug on the side of the tranny...on level ground remove the plug(a small bolt) and allow the tranny fluid to drain out till its level with the hole...This is supposedly the perfect level! I like to over fill a half litre or so...Helps it shift quicker at higher RPM's I find.
