Need help...

I need help deciding how to orientate my exhaust and headers. I was pondering the question of whether long tube or short tube would be better. Also for the CDC side exhaust what should i get to maximize proformance (i.e. - H-pipe or X-pipe) ??? so many questions, so good answers. I Hope?

If you dont have a lot of mods, nor any future plans for major engine work, go with the shorties. They are usually easier to get in and cheaper as well.

An x-pipe will get you a little more power than an h-pipe, but it wont sound as nice as a nice h-pipe will. X-pipes are more expensive, but if a little more power is what you want, then go with the x-pipe.

Re: Need help...

Long for lots of power, short for just a little more than stock. Personally I would go with the H pipe it sounds better.(let people know you're there)

Since you talking CDC side exhuast I'm assuming 4.6 in which case Long tubes cause the shorties for 4.6 suck ass!!!! They few equi-shorties now made are a bigger bitch to install than long tubes actually on a 4.6. X-pipe is better but makes kind of a raspy sound you will either love or hate try to find one and listen to it.
