warming up

how long do you guys typically wait in cold weather for your car to warm up before you push it harder? till the water temp gauge goes to its regular spot (approximatly) or just till the idle is normal??

your car will actually go faster when its cold

but i usually wait at least till the revs have leveled off around 750-1000rpms.
