sounds of a turbine

i am 14 right know and i started researching about cars around 13 and i stopped (dont let the age fool you i know more then just slapping rims and exuast that makes your honda do lawnmower revs)

the first thing that brought me back into researching about cars was clearing out my media files when i found turbo dreams 2. i watched it and when the supra was driving by in the first seconds of the movie the whhhooonnggsshhhh sound from the turbo raised the hair of the back of my head!! u dont know how many times i had to listen to it again! . i mean who doesnt like a nice set of blowoff valves and a nice HKS turbo in their car

basicly what i am asking is if any1 has turbo sounds from their car. and post a reply our link to the sound of the car and/our turbo sounds. what i want to do is every time i log into my computer i want a turbo sound!!!! i know there are only few people who would even bother to do this but if u can, can u plz help me out. our even give me a link that has turbo sounds on some1 elses site.

Re: sounds of a turbine

Do you mean the sound from the BOV or the sound of a turbo spooling up?

my bov is probably the loudest i've ever heard, not sure if the twin chamber has anything to do with it, and you can adjust the sound from a little louder to a little quiter.

Well i never did the math but when i started looking into car parts i decied on reliable rather than rebuilding it all over again. I do 95% of the work my self so that save some $ . Yeah it is a little sleeper the body has no neon lights or crazy paint jobs just Macco Red and tinted windows. Also some of the car parts are not as expensive as the Twin turbo Supra. I took pictures of the engine but i need a scanner or a digital camera.

Hey twinturbine and suprasrule.

Could either of you explain why your IP addresses match?

twinturbine: The IP Address is: 205.188.209.44. The host name is: cache-dl08.proxy.aol.com.

suprasrule: The IP Address is: 205.188.209.44. The host name is: cache-dl08.proxy.aol.com.

Hey wait, you're both the same!!!

I'll ban suprasrule. And I'll allow twinturbine to remain. But if any mod catches you under another name. You'll be banned forever.

Enjoy your stay, Welcome to AF. Please don't fuck around.

Re: sounds of a turbine

Well it is a proxy, so they could both unknowingly be using the same one. Happened to me once, but I doubt that’s the case in this situation.
