Unhappy fan Motor blowout

Hey my fan motor on my car went out. I have a '90 accord lx. I went to the dealer and they said it was like a different motor becuase it had two ends. And they said it was also like $300. I then talked to Afwul Zone and they told me i can get it for $120. My question is it better to have them to it, or should i go cheap and do it myself, and if i do it myself how long would it take. Thank

Re: fan Motor blowout

Are you talking about like an interior fan for heating/cooling or the one under your hood?

the one in the motor is very easy to change, while the interior fan requires most of the dashboard to be removed.

Yup, and either way I couldn't imagine spending $120 for one..

Re: fan Motor blowout

it is the one one interior, so when it is 12 degrees outside it is -12 degrees inside. Do you think it is worth changing myself or have Honda do it.
