Cool Home made Shift kits

Does anyone Know what parts of the AODE needs to be changed What springs can be stretched valves that sort a thing My Step dad is a senior master tech for ford motor co. but he likes for me to figure things out on my own and he said if I can figure out what i want done then he will help me do it.

Here is a link the the "bible" on modifying Ford electronic OD (RWD) transmissions by a former Ford Trans engineer: http://www.tccoa.com/articles/tranny/index.html#

It covers the AODE/4R70W models (they are very similar). Unless noted, all modifications apply equally to either, no difference. The '99 up valve bodies are better, and they introduced a better one-way clutch (OWC) in '98, but that's totally out of the scope of this discussion.
