JDM front end conversion question

Hey guys I was wondering is it cheaper to buy the "jdm front end conversion kit" or buy the pieces seperatlely and put it together yourself. My friend was wondering because he MIGHT do it. I'm not sure what is involved to put it on to a 94+ integra. He can weld if it is necessary. Thanks a lot inadvance..

u'll need a new hood, fenders, bumper, OEM headlights, grill, and radiator support.

The retail price for the whole set is about $2000+.

check out this site...http://www.extremedimensions.com/ED/ they sell them for $1800.

Well the 1800 looks nice on paper, but you still have to buy the radiator support which is 250 and also the kit is made out of fiberglass and is not the OEM metal. Thanks though! Anyone know which is better to have the OEM metal or the fiberglass? I would take the fiberglass would be better because it would be lighter but OEM metal would seem a lot better for shows because its more authetentic.

Hey have you ever used fiberglass? You do know most body kits are made out of fiberglass? Also with fiberglass its easier to repair if anything happens to either. Yes metal can take more wear and tear but if both get hit both are gonna bend but it will be easier to patch up fiberglass.

Integra Jdm front end

To you guys out there that have thoughts and questions about jdm front end on your integras. Well, just to let you know that Fiberglass kit is never the way to go cause I learn it the hard way through my own personal experience. I got the fiberglass version and then found out that it didnt fit from the body shop due to that there are to much gaps between each individual parts. I end up with the real deal but end up spending too much money already. Also for those who have 94-97 better off getting aftermarket H.I.D cause u cant mount the H.I.D unit on the passenger side due to the ABS Pump on the way. Also if you ever get into an light accident the front gets real messed up due to that it doesn't have the front beam support. I learn it the hard way!!!
