ok i just picked up my new ls sport 2 dr 5 speed and it shuts off around 108. WTF you would think that it being a sport that it would at least do 120. i have a saturn l300 that will do 122 in a hurry. now how do i get rid of the topspeed limiter? thanks

Kind of against the rukes.

The way that I have heard is to disconnect the speed signal to the BCM/ECM. The problem is that this shuts off the signal entirely. therefore no speedometer, no odometer(can't sell it as the original mileage on the title anymore) etc. It is detailed on one of the boards for J-bodies.
