The 2003 Barcelona Motor Show will see the world premiere of the estate and saloon versions of Mégane II. Following the Hatch and Sport Hatch models introduced in July 2002, and the Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet and Scénic II on display at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show, this makes six distinct body styles in a programme which comprises seven in all, and which have been rolled out in only nine months. Confirming the coherence of the Mégane II range, these new versions will allow Renault to broaden its customer base in the C segment and boost its sales internationally. Developed from the outset of the programme, each model exhibits a strong personality within a traditionally conservative segment. The Mégane Sport Tourer and Mégane Sport Saloon share all the benefits of the Mégane II family in terms of safety, comfort, and ride and handling. By offering best-in-class dimensions and a top-range equipment specification, they meet the needs of customers seeking cars which combine personality with spaciousness.
