empty gas tank on 4th gen?
WHEN is your gas tank really empty? when then needle is on the red line or when its over the "E"? cuz i know we get the warning for gas at the redline..well i was wondering if really empty is when the needle is over the "E"? thanx
that means when we get the warning tha we still got a couple of gallons left righ?

usually u get like 2 galons left after the light goes on, but i wouldn't take that for granted. Once i left with no fuel and the light never turned on.

shoot ive driven around my 5th gen one night with the needle below empty. but its hard for the car to start with the needle below empty. it takes a couple turnovers before it starts.

i get no warnings. I've been below the "E" before a been ok but that's just my ride.

it's on the owner's manny
when the light turn on, you still have about 8litres/2.11 gallons left. I dunno if it still runs when the needle is below the E line. I love my 91 accord lx, & i would never leave her in thirst

|
Never let your fuel drop below 25% because your fuel pump is sucking up all that gunk and dirt at the bottom of your fuel tank and that cloggs up the fuel injectors and isn't good for the fuel pump.
