i need to ask a similar question, what tranny will fit in my car? my synchros are going, and downshifting from 3rd to 2nd to go around a corner and it not wanting to go into 2nd is pissing me off, other than that my tranny is fine.

as for the question above, i actually went to a junk yard and they told me they could get me a tranny shipped for $500.

I just would like to see my options in what tranny i can actually put in.

you can convert it.. hasport makes a conversion kit.

where are you from? in cali, you can find Y1, S1, & YS1's around..

YS1 being best for all motor because of short gearing, they come in the 92-93 gs-r's
but suck for 5th gear, unless you install a Y1 or S1 5th gear..
