Prelude VS Type R Integra Stats>

Check this out everyone>

http://www.maitreg.com/Cars/performa...?ID1=72&ID2=67

or if that doesn't work then hppt://www.maitreg.com/Cars/performance/

you can get the exact times for stock cars and compare them with other cars. Look at the Prelude Type Sh against the Integra Type R, Type R beats the Lude flat out in all aspects.

Yeah, but that was to be expected from one of the most powerful per-litre non-turbo cars in the world (TYPE-R)..........

And Torque too.

same HP, while the ITR has 300 less lbs or so... of course the power to weight ratio will carry the ITR faster.

but that hasnt stopped me from walkin on a few ITR's and surprising them. not all cars OR drivers were created equal.

we all know.

The Prelude isnt made to keep up with the type R. Heck,
a WRX only gets a carlength on the thing. 14.8 is stock
for an ITR but is resonably fast for a Prelude. I for one
think the H22 is wonderful to drive. It is smooth as silk =)
But I am ited to the Integra, I owned an 2nd and 3rd gen
Prelude but fell in LOVE with the Integra =)

See yas on the road...

Mike

Add Turbo.

if youre gonna use the highest model of the teg, compare it to the highest model of the lude, the jdm type s, it has 220 hp, id take a usdm type sh over a teg type r anyway.

but the Type-S Prelude isnt available in the states.

besides, 20 more horses is not going to make too much of a difference. only 16-18 of it will reach the ground.

I like lightweight + decent horsepower cars.
Rather than Heavy + High horsepower cars.
I think that Integras/Civics/RSXs would be good cars for me.

I would go for an Integra! But the Prelude is nice too because around my area you don't see too many unlike Integras.

Preludes look nice, but all in all, a teg looks better and is very fun to drive. It doesnt have a big car feel to it and is very quick. Type R is a collecters item and they didnt make many of them. I would definitely go for that. Just put a yellow Type R next to a Prelude Type SH and tell me which one would you chose.......

I've never ridden a prelude type SH, but i think it's comparable to the Sir, which i have driven......and the car is nothing like the Type S!!

The type S is much better........none the less considering u can't expect the stock type S to beat the ITR
