measuring 0-60 times
Anybody ever measured the 0-60 on the 2002 G20 (auto tranny) ?
I have driven a 2000 auto G20 before and I swear that my 2002 feels a lot quicker. As far as I know, the only difference between the 2002 G20 from the 99-2001 is the addition of the variable capacity mufflers which Nissan claims 5 extra HP. Im pretty sure that the extra 5 hp doesnt makes a difference. Car mags measured the 2000 G20 auto to do 0-60 in 10.5 secs. But I have never seen a review on the 2002 model. I dont have a Gtech pro but can 0-60 be measured accurately with a stopwatch? |

Yeah, I agree with Jason, the G-tech can be off. I've run a Mustang Cobra on it, and it ran a 15.4 @100+mph that's way off for a Cobra... readjusted it, ran a 14.9 @100+ With the current G-techs it's all about a flat, smooth road, and getting it as close to perfect as possible (middle of the windshield pointing straight down the center of the vehicle). The new G-techs look VERY promising... they have like 4 accelerometers, instead of the 1 the current unit has. They can measure multiple readings at once, and even have shift light and datalogging capabilities. They are called the G-tech Competition (I think). I can't wait to get one!
