turbo air filter

can you guys that are turboed give me some ideas on where to run a filter for my car. its a 88 4-door dohc zc and t25 turbo. it looks like it would fit nice right where the radiator overflow tank sits factory but im afraid it might catch some rain being behind the headlight?
any pics. or sugestions?

you can run it right where you are talking about but make a sheild out of aluminum to block any rain water that could enter but i dout any would.

I would put it where my battery used to be (relocated battery to trunk).

i have my battery in the trunk but my intake side of the turbo is facing the drivers side of the car and i have the stock radiator so there isnt much room to run a pipe through i dont think do you have any pics?

Get rid of your radiator reservoir and put it there...

My reservoir fell out somehow about a year ago, and I haven't replaced it... Just make sure you've always got enough coolant/antifreeze in the radiator.

your intake won't suck wanter unless fully submerged in water. so it will be fine where you want it. and if you still dont trust it, you can get a aem bypass vavle.
