Door alarm

Howdy,
I have a 96 ranger that was a left over on the lot. All in all its been a pretty good vehicle, and I take care of it. One thing that annoys the heck out of me is that sometimes the door open alarm along with the lights behind your head stays on. Even after I shut the doors, and lock them(while leaving the window cracked). Any ideas on what it is? Can I just pop the fuse out which one is that? Thanx for any help

Thats a very common problem.Just spray wd-40 inside your door latch, the switch is located inside.I sprayed mine about 2 yrs ago & haven't had problem since.
