Exactly what do you mean by upgradable? Are you talking Turbo size? or are you talking about putting out more HP, etc???

If your talking about getting more boost, I'm pretty sure the GReddy puts out plenty of boost, but there is plenty of room to upgrade, but you might want to invest in a good IC, it will help get more power out of your turbo.

The Greddy turbo kit you can boost about 14lbs, given you have a decent setup on your car and itll handle that much boost..

That's alot of boost for a Civic. If you run at 14 p.s.i. your gonna need some forged pistons, connecting rods, and a forged crank. Then I would recommend a stand-alone fuel management system, a new ignition system, a custom 3' downpipe and exhaust, and some series engine management upgrades. But that is, of course, all hypothetical.

I don't know about the forged crank and custome 3' downpipe, though. Most turbo kits for the Civic come with downpipes that are made to handle that kind of boost. The only rides I know that need one are cars that have stock turbos with small downpipes to begin with.
The stock crank will support 14psi with no problem.
A stand-alone fuel management system is recommended, but not mandatory. If he gets a manual FMU (Vortech) and just a little bit bigger injectors and maybe a bigger fuel pump (which he'll need anyway), he should be fine. But if he wants to get something to work with his fuel, I recommend the APEXI unit.
