Question How Much for a 69 Vette

The other day I checked out a 69 vette for sale. It has 350 hp and matching documentation. Including the tank sheet. He is asking 24,000. Does anyone know how much it is worth? His site is www.cannillomotorsports.com. Just go to the inventory page. See you later.

A 1969 350/350 h.p. motor is desirable in an early C3 Vette. If the condition of the car is very good, with reasonable mileage, restored interior/exterior/mechanicals having not been in a crash, and having matching numbers...$24,000 in my opinion, would be just a tad on the high side (without examining the car in person). $22,000 would be right in there and im sure you could get it for close to that if not AT that price from him.

I can tell you , that, early C3's .... 1968 to 1972 will be the next to really escalated in value. The big block motor, alone, in my 1970 jumped 33% i value ...in ONE year according to CORVETTE FEVER magazine .

The thing about the vette youre considering, is that, you wont loose any money at all on it ..even if you kept it for a year or two. That means you will be driving it for 'free' essentially.

visit this site and compare http://www.collectorcartraderonline.com/
I think you can get it for 2000-3000 dollars less in my opinion. If it's an all orgnal Corvette it's a fair price.

ME: You must be looking at very pristine 1969 small block Vettes in that price range ; there are good condition vettes available between $12-18 k. I just saw one in a Chicago newspaper listed for $13 k.-- it was a small block 350 cid motor . TRY www.corvettetrader.com and www.corvetteforum.com (C3's for sale site).

Heres an example of a reasonable buy : 1971 Vette, T TOps, fully loaded, 350 cid, 400 auto trans, all original, garage kept since ne, no chips or cracks, tilt , tele, sharp. chrome bumpers. $8950 obo . 847-840-3296

Saw it in the paper this morning. I dont the guy. But it sounds very reasonable. They are out there if you look hard.

Good luck, Dave
