How much for a fuel pump for an 89 CRX?
I just put my car in the shop and the mechanic said that the fuel pump is bad and that it'll cost me $360 for a used fuel pump. I wanted to try and find one for cheaper.

is that for a Honda pump?? just for the pump?
they've got em at www.hondaautomotiveparts.com for like $260.... you can probably get an aftermarket pump for less than that...but I dont know if anyone makes em for our car and you'd have to rewire some stuff....

I went to ImortHookup.com and used their link to CarParts.com and found a Bosch fuel pump for $220 shipped. I don't need a performance fuel pump . Atleast not now. I just need it running, cause of school.

How do you know which fuel pump to get? The electric one or the other one?

It didn't say exactly what kind of pump it was so I am guessing that it is a mechanical pump. But I looked in the Haynes Manuel and found out that my car uses an electrical fuel pump. So it is already on its way.
