Talking looking to buy a 'burb

I'm looking at a 2wd '96 and am wondering if it would be a good choice, considering it is the last model year before the vortec was introduced. I'm thinking logically about bug factors when anything new is introduced. I was wondering if anyone on the forum has the same model year c1500 slt. Any input would be greatly aprreciated. Any major problems etc.

Re: looking to buy a 'burb

Well first of all, vortec 350s were in production in '96. I have one. Looking for a buyer, but it is a 4x4 w/9" lift.
