well you got a 10 year old car and depending whether or not you put some good quality struts that were designed for lowered ride height, you're could be in for a rough ride with either just lowering springs or coilover sleeves. trying to go low on coilovers with 150 bucks and expecting decent ride quality isn't really possible. im only guessing that you still have your stock suspension, but it's like a big money pit when it comes to suspension. you might have the same unfortunate experience as most people do when they decide just to install coilover sleeves. meaning once they install them and set the desired height, they absolutely hate the ride. so then the next step becomes dropping another 300 bucks in some decent performance struts, which by the way will happen.

now i know this doesnt really answer your question, as i do not really know anything about any of the brands you mentioned. but i dont want you to get discouraged when you spend that 150 on what could possibly be crap and to a horrible ride, only for you to end up spending more money to make it better.

hey buddy...my friend bought a set of 94-00 teg coilovers (arospeed brand) for his 91 civic hatch. its my understanding that the suspensions are the same so you could also use the teg coilovers... they provide just a bit smoother ride and lil more of a drop on hatches... believe me... they work, we tested out another brand before then, and they were made for the civic

I put arospeed coilovers in abnout 2 weeks ago on my 2000 civic lx And the ride is good. When i first puit it in the bouncy ride was kind of annoying but i must say thay now im pleased and you can also get it much cheaper . I got mine 189 installed. They usualy go for like 100-120

Re: Arospeed coilovers or not?

Damn this is old.....

I used to have a 95 Honduh civic 4dr. I put the arospeed coilovers on along with koni reds, megan racing control arms, lower tie bar, rear and front strut tower braces and suspension techniques sway bar kit. Just to let you know just in case you have Q's about other suspension parts. I would like to think I have extensive knowledge about suspension shit.

Now for the coilovers.....the coilovers are pretty good FOR THE PRICE. If you drop your car too low the ride will be very bouncy. The springs are very stiff 350lbs rear 400 lbs front and they are only 7 inches long. I like them because I found them for like 110. I wouldn't pay over 100 for them if possible.

Ground Control are considered to be the best coilover SLEEVE you can get...if youi look at them real close you will see that it is an aluminum sleeve with dual locking perches and eibach springs. They are way over priced for what they are. If you want even better than GC than get some good shocks/struts and get some aluminum sleeves from ebay and put QAL progressive rate springs on the perches. Progressive rate springs are the BEST. I have done extensive reasearch on this setup and I have more details but don't have the time right now so let me know.
